Video Editor in Perfect Wedding NYC

 Hiring: Wedding Video Editor (Elopements Only)

We are looking for a video editor with real wedding-editing experience. There is  a very large amount of work , so this position is for someone who wants consistent, ongoing projects.

About Us

We specialize in elopements — small outdoor ceremonies in NYC.
We rarely cover receptions. Most weddings include  30–60 minutes of raw footage , shot over 1–1.5 hours. Clean, organized material that is easy to work with.

Requirements

• Strong editing skills in  Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve
  (we provide licensed access to all software)

• Experience editing wedding videos

• Ability to stabilize footage in  Adobe After Effects

• Ability to edit S-Log footage

• Good eye for composition: crop, straighten horizon, choose the best angles

• Ability to build a storyline and pacing

• Reliable fast internet connection (required)

• Responsible, punctual, team-oriented

What you will deliver

For each wedding:

1. Highlight clip (4–6 minutes)

2. Vertical 1-minute reel

3. Full movie (15–25 minutes)

No color grading —  editing only .

Payment

• Payment per wedding

• Potential transition to a fixed monthly rate based on performance

• Continuous stream of projects (workload is high)
