The Right to Protection, CF
BF "Right to Protection" (the Foundation) is a charitable foundation operating in partnership with HIAS, a global organization providing assistance to refugees. The Foundation focuses on providing assistance to internally displaced persons, persons in need of international protection, stateless persons, high-risk stateless persons and undocumented persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and implements programs for the provision of direct legal assistance throughout Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal framework, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.
One of the main focuses of the work of the BF "Right to Protection" is the integration of IDPs into new communities for the development of both the displaced themselves and the settlements that host them. Within the framework of the Project and the Program, educational courses are held for IDPs and the population affected by military actions. These courses help participants gain knowledge for employment or start/restart their own business, master modern digital tools and manage finances effectively. Also among the activities are free business consultations, as well as a lawyer and a psychologist-coach.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
BF "Right to Protection" is a partner of the Response Consortium within the framework of the implementation of the project "Providing multi-sectoral humanitarian aid to victims of the conflict population in Ukraine (2023–2026)" with the financial support of the US Government. The Response Consortium is implementing a multi-sectoral humanitarian aid program for the population affected by the conflict in Ukraine. The Goal is to strengthen people's resilience and ability to overcome the consequences of war through timely access to multisectoral support and quality information management. The target groups are internally displaced persons, people affected by the war, returnees after the reduction of the intensity of hostilities, with the priority of supporting the elderly and persons with disabilities.
The geography of implementation is urban and remote rural communities of the Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions. The economic capacity building component is implemented in the Poltava, Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
BF "Right to Protection" is looking for a candidate for the position of Education specialist/position in the city of Kyiv (Kyiv region).
Planning and organizing training events together with the project and program team, including the calendar plan and resource provision; Participation in organizing the recruitment of participants for training, providing mentoring, organizational and coordination support for project participants;
Ensuring complete, thorough, accurate documentation in a proper manner in accordance with legal norms and ethics rules;
Ensuring the accuracy, content and timeliness of statistical and analytical reports, and other relevant working documents;
Comply with the Code of Conduct and Foundation Policies;
Having your own car will be an advantage.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Higher education in the field of economics or socio-economic development, business administration, social work, psychology or other related field;
Experience in the field of adult education will be an advantage;
Experience in organizing and supporting group educational events;
A confident user of digital tools, programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
Fluency in the Ukrainian language (proficiency in English will be an advantage);
Ability to analyze information, identify problems and develop solutions. Attention to detail;
High communication skills, ability to effectively communicate and cooperate with different people. Diplomacy and cultural sensitivity;
Fair treatment of all people, lack of bias and discrimination. Adherence to the principles of gender equality and zero tolerance for sexual harassment.
