General information
BF "Right to Defense" (hereinafter - the Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), victims of war, refugees and stateless persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and monitors the situation of protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in 22 regions of Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights. 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none"> is funded by the FCDO and is aimed at protecting and supporting the civilian population affected by the conflict in Ukraine. The project is implemented by a consortium of Ukrainian and international organizations, where each organization brings its expertise and works in a specific field. It aims to protect and support IDPs and other vulnerable groups through emergency assistance (evacuations, temporary accommodation, financial support), ensuring access to basic services (legal aid, documentation, social transport), as well as national advocacy for reforms in the areas of protection, compensation and social policy. Special attention is paid to children, people with disabilities, the elderly, veterans, victims of domestic violence and other vulnerable categories.
In the period fromSeptember 2025 to March 2028 year The Foundation will implement measures to monitor protection, provide legal aid, increase access to basic services and build community resilience in the regions of Ukraine:Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.
The main purpose of the work of the Training Specialist for conducting specialized trainings is to organize and conduct trainings to raise awareness of state communities and local authorities, on statelessness, access to relevant procedures and rights of stateless persons.
font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">Development,updating and adapting educational materials (presentations, practical tasks) on the subject of statelessness, documentation and access to rights; NGOs, social workers, etc.;
Adaptation of educational content according to the needs of different target audiences;
Collection and analysis of feedback from training participants to improve training programs; text-decoration: none">
Participation in the preparation of methodological and analytical materials;
normal; text-decoration: none">Ensure the accuracy, content and timeliness of training reports and trainings"> and other relevant working documents;If necessary, perform other duties related to the educational and educational activities of the project;
Higher education in the field of law, social sciences, psychology, or related fields;
Experience in organizing and conducting trainings / facilitation sessions - from 1-2 years;
Experience of public speaking, participation in Forums or panel discussions from 6 months;
Experience working with vulnerable populations or in the field of human rights protection will be an advantage;
Excellent ability to communicate effectively in the Ukrainian language, both orally and in writing;
Professional command of the English language (preferred);
Excellent presentation and communication skills;
Ability to adapt materials to the target audience;
Good analytical skills and attention to detail;
Teamwork skills;
The ability to collect information in accordance with the goals and objectives of the project;
Cultural sensitivity, empathy, respect for diversity;
Self-organization, flexibility, ability to work under tight deadlines;
Experience in the public sector or international organizations is desirable;
Mobility and readiness for business trips throughout the territory of Ukraine in accordance withneeds of the project.
