Business Development Manager is responsible for finding, evaluating and bringing to market new products in the company's portfolio that meet its mission and financial goals, as well as for building long-term partnerships and effective commercialization of products.
Main responsibilities:
- Search for new products and partners (including "cold" contacts).
- Obtaining and agreement of commercial conditions, conducting negotiations.
- Support for conclusion of contracts and full turnkey project support. Verification of documentation of partners.
- Setting tasks for the launch manager, regulatory specialist and other members of the project team. Primary analysis of incoming data and coordination of the work of a cross-functional team.
- Supporting the processes of product registration, development and approval of artwork, labeling, print proofs.
- Coordination of order placement, production, payment, logistics and customs clearance. Preparation of additional documentation.
- Working in CRM systems.
- Building long-term, loyal partnership relations.
- Monitoring trends in global medicine and pharmaceutical markets (Europe, CIS, Ukraine). Multifactor analysis of the market and assessment of the potential of new products. Preparation of analytical reports and business cases.
- Formation of independent conclusions and recommendations.
- Support of marketing and service teams in the process of commercialization of products.
- Analysis and understanding of the patient journey.
Requirements for the candidate:
HARD
Higher medical, pharmaceutical or marketing education.
Experience in the pharmaceutical business — from 5 years.
Experience in performing business development functions — from 1 year (the position may be called differently).
Experience in project work and process management.
Experience in cooperation with foreign partners.
Confirmed experience in implementing successful projects.
Understanding the fundamental processes of pharmaceutical commercial business.
Understanding the factors affecting sales, appointments, recommendations, promotional activity.
Skills of multifactorial market analysis.
- English — Advanced (fluent written and spoken, knowledge of medical and business terminology).
Fluency in the Ukrainian language.
SOFT
Confident negotiation and sales skills.
Strong presentation and communication skills (oral and written).
High level of self-organization, responsibility and decision-making.
Cross-functional experience interaction.
Fluency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
