Trainer for the provision of social services "Day care" in Ukrayinska Merezha za prava ditini, GS

GS Ukrainian Network for Children's Rights (hereinafter - UMPD) was created to consolidate efforts and improve coordination between civil society organizations in Ukraine and their influence on state policy in the field of ensuring children's rights.

Responsibilities:

• Offline supervision of target communities of the Project "Minimum package of integrated social services for families with children" in the Kharkiv region with the aim of supporting social work specialists and other specialists in improving the quality of providing
  day care services;
• Preparation and supervision to provide social work specialists of Kharkiv region communities with knowledge and practical skills for effective provision of social "Day care" services for people who need it. To teach
  the correct approach to the organization of this service, to discuss the stages, requirements, rights and obligations of service providers, as well as the mechanisms of interaction with recipients of the social service Day Care.

The main tasks of supervision:

• To acquaint the participants with the basic principles and stages of providing day care services;
• To clarify the regulatory framework: legislative and normative acts regulating the provision of social services, in particular day care services (Law of Ukraine "On Social Services", Order "On Approval of the State Standard of Social Day Care Services for Children with Disabilities", relevant by-laws) and requirements
  for service providers and day care organizations: premises, staff, security;
• Explain the rights and obligations of service providers, as well as legal aspects of interaction with recipients of social day care services;
• Explain the process of providing social service Day care: assessment of the needs of the recipient of social services and an individual approach to each person, organization of the day for the recipient of the service (diet, medical support,
  social activity), the process of interaction with relatives, other institutions (medical, social, volunteer organizations);
• To study psychological and emotional aspects: features of psychological support of recipients of social services, the importance of interaction with families of recipients of social services and the importance of communication;
• To study mechanisms of quality control of service provision: determination of quality standards of day care services, evaluation of the effectiveness of service provision and receiving feedback from clients and their families;
• To develop practical skills through discussion, group exercises and role-playing games;
• After completing the activities, report to the Organizer (event program, list of participants, presentation, photo, report, etc.).

Requirements:

• Higher education in the relevant educational field;
• Experience as a coachof social work for at least 5 years;
• General experience in the field of social services and social work of 5-10 years;
• Have positive experience of conducting events for social service providers from 3 to 5 years, incl. online;
• Experience in developing day care trainings;
• High level of knowledge of national legislation on protection of children's rights, creation and provision of social services;
• Excellent presentation/teaching/documentation skills.
