The Ukrainian IT company Nova Digital , part of the NOVA group of companies, is a powerful developer of web applications and software for architectures of any complexity and workload. We create, maintain, and continuously improve software products, the convenience of which has already been appreciated by 32 million private and business clients of Nova Poshta.

As we expand our team, we are currently looking for a  Technical Writer

Your responsibilities:

• Create comprehensive documentation that aligns with organizational
  standards.
• Develop a thorough understanding of products and services to translate
  complex information into clear, engaging, and polished content.
• Craft user-friendly content that caters to the target audience’s needs,
  turning insights into language that supports user success.
• Build and maintain a detailed reference database, including research
  findings, usability tests, and design specifications.
• Assess existing content and devise innovative strategies for
  improvement.
• Research, outline, write, and edit content while collaborating closely
  with various departments to understand project requirements.
• Collect information from subject-matter experts to develop, organize,
  and draft procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process
  documentation.
• Collaborate with development and support leads to identify
  documentation repositories, edit and revise content, and determine the
  best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage.
• Design and maintain information architecture templates that comply
  with organizational and legal standards and facilitate easy data
  migration.
• Produce content in alternative media formats to maximize usability,
  ensuring a consistent voice across all documentation.
• Build the Documentation Management process from scratch.

About you:

• Ukrainian: native or bilingual.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Communications,
  Applied Linguistics or a related field.
• At least four years of experience as an effective technical writer.
• Proven ability to quickly grasp and understand complex subjects.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in technical writing tools: Such as Microsoft Word, Adobe
  FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or similar.
• Experience with documentation management systems: Such as
  Confluence, JIRA, or other content management systems.
• Experience in creating documentation and procedure manuals for
  various audiences.
• Excellent written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Experience collaborating with engineers to enhance user experience
  (e.g., design, UI), refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for
  technical support.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Will be a plus:

• Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or
  Scrum.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages: Understanding of
  languages like Python, Java, or C++ is a plus.
• Experience with API documentation: Including RESTful APIs, SDKs, and
  other developer-facing documentation.
• Knowledge of version control systems: Such as Git or SVN.
