The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and implements programs of free legal aid throughout Ukraine, as well as promotes changes in national legislation in accordance with international standards in the field of human rights.
The SHARP PULSE projectis financed by FCDO and is aimed at protecting and supporting the civilian population affected by the conflict in Ukraine. The project is implemented by a consortium of Ukrainian and international organizations, where each organization conducts its own expertise and works in a specific field. It aims to protect and support IDPs and other vulnerable groups through emergency assistance (evacuations, temporary accommodation, financial support), ensuring access to basic services (legal aid, documentation, social transport), as well as national advocacy for reforms in the areas of protection, compensation and social policy. Special attention is paid to children, people with disabilities, the elderly, veterans, victims of domestic violence and other vulnerable categories.
In the period from September 2025 to March 2028The Fund will implement measures to monitor protection, provide legal assistance, strengthening access to basic services and building resilience of communities in the regions of Ukraine: Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Mykolaiv regions.
The object is implemented in the regions and communities, including those with a high level of security risks (in particular, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kherson regions). BF "Right to Protection" organizes working conditions with a secure context and provides measures to reduce risks and protect teams.
The object is looking for a Specialist/position in the field of protection assistanceproviding services to beneficiaries who have returned from captivity, left temporary occupied territories or were evacuated from the territory where project activities are implemented. Services are provided at the Domanove checkpoint.
OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- identify beneficiaries who need protection services;
- conduct in-depth surveys of beneficiaries to identify their needs, vulnerabilities, available resources and assess individual protection risks;
- coordinateprepare with the regional coordinator an individual list of documents confirming the existence of security risks in the beneficiaries;
- initial assessment of the documents provided by the beneficiary, if necessary, participate in checking the completeness and reliability of the information provided in them;
- conduct a comprehensive analysis of the collected information, describe existing risks in the field of protection, the possibilities of response means and an exit strategy;
- based on the analysis, create questionnaires of beneficiaries for the provision of financial assistance and submit them for consideration to the regional coordinator;
- provide assistance to beneficiaries in the identification, search, acquisition and organization of delivery / purchase of goods, work or services;
- participate in price monitoring of goods, works, services needed by beneficiaries;
- advise beneficiaries on possible ways to strengthen their own resources, including: receiving assistance from other humanitarian organizations and government bodies, registration of social payments and subsidies, participation in career guidance programs and creation of their own business, etc.;
- support the process of providing financial assistance to beneficiaries, use control payments, determine the need to provide financial assistance again;
- maintain contacts with case managers, social workers, lawyers, psychologists, representatives of partner organizations and other specialists who participate in providing assistance to the same beneficiaries;
- participate in post-distribution monitoring;
- enter into the CRM system information about beneficiaries, the aid provided to them and the results of its use;
- participate in case discussions, trainings and other training measures to develop competencies added to provide individual assistance in the field of protection.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- higher or secondary professional education;
- experience working with IDPs and other persons who have suffered as a result of armed aggression, belong to vulnerable segments of the population or find themselves in difficult life circumstances;
- understanding of humanitarian principles;
- desire to help people;
- good communication skills, courtesy and diplomacy;
- fluency in the Ukrainian language;
- Understanding and compliance with the Code of Conduct and other policies of the Foundation;
- Preference is given to candidates who have their own car.
