GENERAL INFORMATION
BF "Right to Defense" (Foundation) is a charitable organization focused on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), people in need of international protection, stateless persons and groups at risk of statelessness. The Fund is an executive partner of UNHCR and implements programs of free legal aid throughout Ukraine, as well as promotes changes in national legislation in accordance with international standards in the field of human rights. PULSEis funded by FCDO and aims to protect and support civilians affected by the conflict in Ukraine. The project is implemented by a consortium of Ukrainian and international organizations, where each organization brings its expertise and works in a specific field. It aims to protect and support IDPs and other vulnerable groups through emergency assistance (evacuations, temporary accommodation, financial support), ensuring access to basic services (legal aid, documentation, social transport), as well as national advocacy for reforms in the areas of protection, compensation and social policy. Special attention is paid to children, people with disabilities, the elderly, veterans, victims of domestic violence and other vulnerable categories.
In the period from September 2025 to March 2028, the Fund will implement measures to monitor protection, provide legal assistance, strengthening access to basic services and building resilience of communities in the regions of Ukraine: Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions. with a high level of security risks (in particular, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kherson regions). BF "Right to Protection" organizes working conditions taking into account the security context and provides measures to reduce risks and protect the team.
The project is looking forSocial issues specialist (Care at home) in the city of Dnipro (Dnipropetrovsk region).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIDENTIFICATION- Identifying persons with disabilities and/or elderly persons in need of social support;
- Assessing the needs of beneficiaries in social services and social assistance;
- Providing social services: Care at home (assistance in self-care, movement in household conditions, housekeeping, organization of interaction with other specialists and services; assistance in providing technical means of rehabilitation, training in the skills of using them; informing and representing interests) according to needs; social, psychological, legal, provision of temporary shelter, etc.), in particular through referral to relevant general or specialized support services for victims and/or other entities;
- Maintaining contact with local authorities and their institutions, as well as other humanitarian organizations;
- Participation in public educational activities aimed at increasing the level of awareness of the population regarding the maintenance of mental health and psycho-emotional state in emergency conditions;
- Participation in writing analytical reports and performing other current tasks within the framework of project implementation;
- Understanding and compliance with the Code of Conduct and other policies of the Foundation.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Higher education in social sciences, psychology or humanities will be an advantage;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Understanding humanitarian principles;
- Understanding the privacy policy in accordance with the legislation on the collection of personal data;
- Understanding current legislation, types and main measures for the provision of social services;
- Mandatory experience of working in state or non-state organizations in the social sphere and with the less mobile people;
- Experience working with internally displaced persons will be an advantage;
- Ability to speak the client's language and prepare educational materials;
- Ability to establish contact with other colleagues and agree on joint tasks.
ADVANTAGES FOR CANDIDATES

- The presence of a driver's license and driving experience.
