The Right to Protection, CF
BF "Right to Protection" (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), victims of war, refugees and stateless persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and monitors the situation of protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in 22 regions of Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project will complement the efforts of local authorities, ensuring critical evacuation from accessible front-line settlements to collective centers and social institutions outside the affected regions, as well as facilitating the reception of evacuees and IDPs with high vulnerabilities in places of accommodation.
R2P has a permanent presence in the target regions. Cooperation and dialogue with local institutions is established and supported, in particular with regional and district state administrations, social institutions, municipalities and local self-government bodies (communities). The project is aimed at the priorities of the CCCM and General Protection clusters, in particular the provision of emergency aid and responding to specific protective needs. R2P will also support collective center administrations and other stakeholders representing the rights of people with disabilities to increase their capacity to effectively respond to the needs of vulnerable groups and provide quality services to their beneficiaries. that suffered and continues to suffer from the war in Ukraine. We work to restore mental supports and teach self-help for stabilization in stress and crisis situations.
Psychologists in the structure of this project receive tasks and work according to the methodology of the Mental Health Care Service of BF "Right to Defense".

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">
Higher education in the field of psychological, social or humanitarian sciences.
Courses for working with stress, trauma or the consequences of war.
A completed course in psychiatry propaedeutics will be a significant advantage.
Experience: from 3 years.
Personal therapy: from 50 hours.
Ability to establish contact with other colleagues and coordinate joint tasks.
Competencies of a psychologist that we expect from a successful candidate (even if the professional requirements do not correspond to the list above):
Knowledge of age psychology, in particular the specifics of working with older people and people with disabilities.
Readiness and desire to communicate with different people in "field conditions".
High adaptability to changing working conditions (schedule, travel time, direct work time, temperature regime, presence/absence of an office, etc.).
Orientation on teamwork.
Readiness to perceive and contain affective reactions and manifestations of emotions: rage, aggression, despair, powerlessness, etc.
Personal level of resilience when faced with potentially traumatic circumstances.
Proactivity and the ability to initiate contact first.
The skill of active listening is developed.
Developed skill to quickly create and maintain a level of trust in communication.
The ability to apply psychological first aid techniques and self-regulation techniques in stress, the ability to convey this information in an accessible form.
Knowledge of basic techniques of crisis assistance and the basics of working with grief and loss.
Developed the skill of reflecting one's own state, separating one's own emotions from the emotions of the interlocutor.
