HALO has been working in Ukraine since 2016, carrying out humanitarian demining activities and activities, namely mine surveying, demining and awareness raising activities. explosive objects. Currently, the program has more than 1,500 employees. HALO Ukraine responds appropriately to the humanitarian crisis in the country and seeks to expand its team. In connection with the expansion, we invite to our team a Specialist in providing information on risks from explosive objects.
Requirements:< /p>

  • Higher or secondary special education (pedagogical, social or psychological is preferred);
  • Fluency in the Ukrainian language;
  • Communicative and ability to work with different age groups (children, teenagers, adults);
  • Computer skills at the level of a confident user;
  • Readiness before going on a business trip;

Duties:


    < li>Organization and conduct of sessions, classes, discussions, etc. in accordance with the standard operational procedures (SOPs) operating in the Representation.
  • Collection of information in the areas of events in accordance with the requirements established by the Head of the group.
  • Fixation of relevant information received from the population and its transfer to the Head of the group.
  • Providing an accurate and reasonable count of beneficiaries, as well as other information that contributes to the identification of dangerous areas.
  • Participation in events organized by governmental and non-governmental organizations withof mine countermeasures activities, as instructed by the management.
  • Representation of the interests and activities of the Representative Office during these events.
  • Responsibility for the proper condition of secured property and equipment.
  • Execution of relevant administrative or practical tasks related to the main activity.
  • Maintaining a friendly and respectful atmosphere in the team and in relations with beneficiaries.
  • Performing other functions and tasks related to the organization and practical implementation of risk education events.

It will be an advantage:

  • Experience in conducting trainings, lectures or information campaigns will be considered an advantage;
  • Knowledge of the English language will be considered an advantage;
  • Driver's license of category B will be considered advantage
