The "Tenth of April" public organization announces a competition for the position of a specialist in work with social initiatives within the framework of the project "Protection of internally displaced persons, persons affected by the conflict and empowerment of the community", which is implemented with the support of the UNHCR.

As part of the activities of the specialized department of this project, the Organization carries out measures aimed at the development of civil society, support of initiatives initiated by internally displaced persons, for internally displaced persons and other vulnerable categories of the population that have been negatively affected by the conflict. The main areas of activity are strengthening social cohesion, stimulating local initiatives in response to humanitarian challenges, increasing the organizational capacity of initiative groups, public and charitable organizations, developing horizontal ties, mobilizing resources, and establishing effective interaction with local self-government bodies.

identify volunteers, activist groups and/or organizations that provide assistance to IDPs and persons affected by the conflict;

  • provide advisory and methodical support on issues of organizational development to volunteers, initiative groups, citizen associations and organizations engaged in public activities;

  • to support the development and implementation of public initiatives, as well as in the program of grant support and attraction of resources;" as well as activities aimed at expanding community opportunities;

  • collect, verify and analyze information in order to identify human rights violations and risks faced by IDPs and other affected population groups;

  • hold meetings and communication with IDPs and persons affected by hostilities, identify needs and identify the most vulnerable categories of persons;

  • provide advisory assistance and disseminate information on access to social services, legal, psychological and other types of assistance;

  • develop information materials for communities;

  • compose reports and descriptive reports with quantitative and qualitative indicators, as well as other internal organizational documentation;

  • process requests for assistance based on a needs assessment;

  • report to the donor, compile data into a single database and prepare analytical reports.
