Specialist in pre-press preparation in Novaprint, TOV

Working schedule is five days, 08:00 - 17:00, Sat., Sun - weekend.

Responsibilities include preparing layouts for printing, quality control, color adjustments and creating electronic releases for production, output, as well as interacting with customers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with technical requirements. The specialist adapts layouts for different types of printing, carries out color correction, optimizes layouts for post-press processing according to the requirements of the technologist, makes color proofs and printed forms, and also monitors the correctness of color transfer.

Functional duties:

• Preparation layouts:
  • Checking layouts for compliance with technical requirements.
  • Preparation of original layouts for various types of printing (digital printing, offset).
• Working with color:
  • Color adjustment and correction, selection of color profiles.
  • Performing color distribution for obtaining printing forms.
• Optimization of layouts:
  • Managing the application of colors ("overprint") to mask registration errors.
  • Arrangement of technological elements (labels, scales).
  • Development and production of electronic assemblies ("triggers").
• Other:
  • Production of printed forms on CTP.
  • Interaction with clients and subcontractors to solve technical issues.

Requirements:

Must have a range of professional skills and knowledge:

• Technical knowledge: understanding of prepress equipment and printing technologies.
• Color knowledge: ability to use color profiles and color correction.
• Attention to detail: ability to identify and correct errors at all stages preparation of the layout and printing forms.
• Experience with graphic programs: ability to work with such programs as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and others.
• Understanding of polygraphic processes: knowledge of all stages of the printing process — from the preparation of the layout to the output of the finished product.
