MAIN TASKS
We are looking for a confident, responsible and energetic specialist in working with local self-government bodies.
- Organization and holding of meetings, consultations and trainings with community representatives to determine their needs
- Supporting community initiatives in the implementation of projects and programs aimed at improving their social and economic situation.
- Monitoring and evaluation of the results of work with communities, as well as preparation of reports for internal and external use.
- Organization and training for employees of social protection departments, social service centers, local charities and other institutions that provide assistance to people in difficult life situations.
Experience providing protection and psychosocial support during emergency response is an advantage
Knowledge of Ukrainian social policy and national/international guidelines related to social issues, protection and/or human rights (such as displacement, child protection, violence against women/girls, protection, working with people with disabilities and/or minorities, legal rights, etc.)Excellent communication skills and active listening skills in interaction with target persons (displaced persons and their host population, persons returning to their places of residence)Fluent command of Ukrainian. Knowledge of English will be an advantageConfident user of Microsoft OfficeOther relevant experience and skillsHigh motivation and ability to work effectively with minimal supervisionPrevious experience working in humanitarian or human rights organizations is welcomeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a team and build partnerships with various stakeholders.WORKING CONDITIONS
