The organization "Man in Need" has been operating in Ukraine since the beginning of August 2014, and since then, humanitarian programs have been rapidly expanding. At this time, "Lyudyna v bidi" is one of the main humanitarian organizations in Ukraine that provides neutral and independent humanitarian assistance to people affected by the conflict.

General information about the employee role:
Under the general guidance of the Leading Specialist of social work programs, implements psychosocial activities. The specialist organizes the work of a team of psychologists and closely cooperates with members of multidisciplinary teams, as well as with representatives of local communities.
Joins the software team as needed to provide immediate support where needed.
Descriptiongeneralduties:
organizes the work of a team of psychologists, coordinates the planning of activities, distribution of travel schedules and ensures effective internal communication;
ensures coordination with members of multidisciplinary teams, community representatives, partners and responsible persons at locations;
ensures methodical onboarding of partner organizations providing psychosocial support in the region in cooperation with PIN;
supports communication with locations and partners, promotes the development of cooperation and network expansion;
monitors the quality of the activities of the team of psychologists and partner teams, analyzes feedback and initiates improvements;
shows initiative in finding new locations and establishing partnerships, maintains an active position in project implementation;
coordinates the preparation of event programs, informational materials, booklets, presentations and other methodical products;
participates in the development and improvement of methodological approaches and educational materials;
ensures documentation, reporting and document management in accordance with project requirements;
prepares regular reports and analytical materials on the implementation of psychosocial activities;
contributes to the integration of the psychosocial component into the general program of the sector;
works in a team, supports professional communication, exchange of experience and a positive working atmosphere;
follows the principles of humanitarian activity and focuses on supporting vulnerable categories of the population;
follows the work schedule, fills out electronic forms and other internal documentation in a timely manner;
efficiently plans and uses working time;
observes the limits of professional competence, makes referrals in appropriate cases;
raises the professional level through training, supervision and other forms of development.

Community representatives, partners, beneficiaries.

Higher education in the specialty "Psychology" (educational level not lower than Bachelor's)
Experience in the specialty:
Preferred work experience of 2 years. Experience in the humanitarian field will be an added advantage. working with groups and organizational skills; understanding humanitarian principles and practices; good communication and diplomatic skills; highly developed organizational and time management skills; reporting skills.
