MAIN TASKS

  • Planning and implementation of measures to prevent and respond to GBV in accordance with international standards (IASC GBV Guidelines, survivor-centered approach).
  • Ensuring a victim-centered approach, respecting the principles of safety, confidentiality and non-discrimination.
  • Identifying persons who have experienced or are at risk of GBV and organizing safe referral to specialized services.
  • Coordination of work with case managers, psychologists, outreach officers and mobile teams.
  • Conducting individual and group informational sessions on the prevention of HSE.
  • Providing technical support and mentoring to the team and partners.
  • Interaction with local authorities, social services and public organizations.
  • Participating in working groups and sub-clusters on HSE and protection issues.
  • Monitoring the quality of services and training reporting in accordance with donor requirements.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Higher education in sociology, psychology, social work and/or at least one year of work experience in the relevant industry
  • Experience in helping victims of natural disasters and vulnerable population groups
  • Adherence to organizational principles, the Code of Conduct, safety and PSEA standards
  • Knowledge of internal displacement issues
  • Fluent command of Ukrainian. 
  • A confident user of Microsoft Office
  • Other relevant experience and skills
  • Availability of FOP (group 3), or willingness to register in a short time frame
  • High motivation and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Previous work experience in humanitarian or human rights organizations is welcome
