"Tenth of April" is a public organization that works to improve the protection of the population affected by the conflict by providing legal, social, psychological and humanitarian assistance, promotes changes in legislation, involvement of communities in responding to emergency situations and finding long-term solutions, in cooperation with the authorities and by supporting their potential, with a special emphasis on the most vulnerable groups.
In cooperation with the Danish Refugee Council with the financial support of the US State Department, we are implementing a project aimed at increasing the level of security, psychological resilience and socio-economic stability of war-affected persons through a comprehensive response to their needs.
Project name "Livelihood Restoration Assistance in Ukraine" in cooperation with the Danish Refugee Council with financial support from the State Department USA.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Organizing and conducting at least twice a month informational sessions for the public to raise awareness of PGD and promote help-seeking behavior;
- Conducting events within the framework of the Girl Shine program for teenage girls;
- Organization and preparation of thematic trainings, together with other sectoral specialists of the organization.
- Preparation and drawing up of event plans;
- Control and support in the organization of case management work on issues of social security;
- Establishment of relations with state coordination centers to identify needs victims;
- Systematically interact with all subjects on issues of combating and preventing GBV, participation in coordination meetings at all levels, jointly develop action plans and coordination mechanisms for responding to GBV cases;
- Identification of initiative groups, active residents of communities focused on supporting women and girls and increasing their potential;
- Preparation of information for reports, analysis of project activities in the field of public health, upon request. Qualification requirements. Technical skills:
- Education in the field of law, international relations and other related humanities; Knowledge of the principles of case management;
- Skills in organizing and conducting group activities;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Proficiency in English is welcome;
- Readiness for business trips;
- Availability of a personal PC and excellent command of MS Office;
- Experience in humanitarian projects is welcome;
- Time management skills to analyze workload, allocate priorities;
- Experience in similar positions is desirable.
