"Tenth of April" is a public organization that works in the direction of improving the protection of the population affected by the conflict by providing legal, social, psychological and humanitarian assistance, promotes changes in legislation, involvement of communities in responding to emergency situations and the search for long-term solutions, in cooperation with the authorities and supporting their potential, with a special emphasis on the most vulnerable groups.
In partnership with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), with the financial support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (UHF), we are implementing a project aimed at ensuring safe, decent and affordable reception and accommodation conditions for evacuees and internally displaced persons with disabilities mobility, older people and people with disabilities in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

Carry out initial identification of places of accommodation of internally displaced persons (IDPs);Carry out monitoring and assessment of current needs to improve conditions of stay of IDPs in places of accommodation (including living conditions and other humanitarian needs in Centers);Ensure further support of measures to improve living conditions and humanitarian response in places of accommodation of IDPs;Implement measures, aimed at improving the self-organization of IDPs in compact areasresidence; Make referrals to other project specialists to obtain legal, psychological and other necessary assistance; Conduct the formation, processing of cases and document circulation in accordance with the established methodology; Ensure the selection, updating and addition of information on the availability and availability of services for aid recipients within the project; Make regular visits to the centers/locations of aid recipients with the purpose of fulfilling assigned duties; Issuance of humanitarian and other non-food aid in accordance with the established methodology, with the availability of appropriate resources; Interact with representatives of authorities, enterprises, institutions, organizations, public activists and representatives of communities with the purpose of initial identification of aid recipients, provision of support and exchange of information on opportunities; Perform general monitoring implementation of the rights and freedoms of target categories, identify cases of discriminatory treatment of aid recipients; Participate in meetings, meetings, committee meetings related to the implementation of the project, as instructed by the management; Provide daily reporting on the results of their activities, as well as other reporting in accordance with the schedule established by the Project Manager "Protection of Internally Displaced Persons, Persons Affected by conflict, and community empowerment" or the President of the Organization.Requirements for the candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in humanities, social sciences or other relevant field.
- Experience in humanitarian projects is welcome.
- Knowledge of spoken and written Ukrainian.
- Knowledge of spoken and written English is welcome.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office required).
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to listen to understand the needs, requirements and preferences of individuals and stakeholders project.
- Stress resistance and psychological maturity to work with vulnerable categories of citizens.
- Tolerant behavior with the aim of respecting people of different cultures, ages, genders, races, religions, traditions.
- Critical thinking to objectively analyze needs and advantages and find the best solution.
