There are hundreds of patients in Zhytomyr who are no longer helped by standard therapy. We have international protocols that can help. Among them are doctors who do not yet know about this possibility. 

The essence of the role

Specialist in cooperation with doctors - a person who builds and develops a network of partnership relations with doctors of Zhytomyr region. Your task is to systematically find, attract and support doctors who will refer patients to our center.

This is not a classic medical representative. You do not "sell" drugs. You open up opportunities:

  • For doctors — to join international medical science
  • For patients — to get access to treatment unavailable in other ways
  • For the center — to ensure a stable flow of research participants

Key difference: you don’t just “bypass doctors” — you build a system that generates a predictable result. You think as the owner of your territory, not as an executor of a list of tasks.

What you will do:

Build professional relationships, not collect contacts. Get to know doctors personally, understand their context (which patients are concerned, what are the limitations of the practice), become a useful resource for them - the person they call for advice.

Form a clear understanding of "which the patient is suitable." Explain not in general, but with examples. To help the doctor not to make mistakes, and not just to "try". Less, but more accurate is better for everyone.

Always close the feedback loop. Return to the doctor with feedback: whether the patient has reached or approached. Thank you for the quality referrals. Without this, trust does not work.

Proactively eliminate barriers. Diagnose why a specific doctor does not refer (forgets? does not understand the criteria? does not trust? is afraid of losing the patient?) and develop solutions for each barrier.

Work systematically. Keep records of doctors, contacts, agreements, follow-up. Know clearly: who is active, who has "chilled out", who needs to be restored and when. Do not rely on memory or mood.

Keep an ethical stance. Participation is not suitable for everyone. The final decision is always up to the doctor and the patient. The patient's interest is a priority. Do not promise what you do not control.

What success looks like:

In 3 months - you will know the medical environment of Zhytomyr Oblast: who is who, where is the potential, who to work with first. There are the first active partners and the first referrals.

After 6 months — you have a working system: you know exactly how many doctors are in the funnel, for whicheveryone at this stage. The referrals are predictable.

In 12 months - the region's doctors will know you. They call themselves. You understand patterns: what works, what doesn't, and why. You don't just fill the role - you develop it.

Who we're looking for

We care about your mindset, not the lines on your CV.

Must:

  • Higher education (medical, pharmaceutical or biological preferred, but not required)
  • Ability to hold a doctor-level conversation and build trust relations
  • Self-organization: the ability to plan, keep records, work according to the rhythm
  • Persistence without obtrusiveness - the first "no" is the beginning of work, not the end
  • Readiness for active work in the field - visits, meetings, conferences
  • Driver's license category B

Will be an advantage:

  • Medical experience representative or work in the medical environment
  • Existing contacts among doctors in Zhytomyr Oblast
  • Experience with CRM or structured contact databases

Honest about difficulties

This role is not for everyone. Here's what you'll face:

  • Doctors are busy and skeptical. The first months are a lot of rejections and short conversations in the corridors. The result comes through hard, systematic work, not through one-time charisma.
  • You work mostly independently "in the field". There is no leader behind it. There is freedom — and responsibility for the result.
  • Clinical research is a complex field. Protocols, inclusion criteria, regulations — all this needs to be studied. We will teach, but you need to be willing to learn quickly and deeply.
