Premier Urzhans International (PUI) is a non-profit, non-political and non-religious humanitarian non-governmental organization. PUI started humanitarian activities in Ukraine in February 2015, with the aim of restoring and ensuring access to primary health care services for the local population and internally displaced persons affected by the armed conflict and improving living conditions by providing their basic needs.
Place of work - Kharkiv, Kharkivska region
Education:Higher education in the field of social work, social protection,social services, integration of people with disabilities, sociology, law, humanities, humanities, social sciences or in another relevant field.
Experience jobs:
At least 2 years of practical experience in public or private social services for vulnerable groups or similar experience.
It is desirable to have experience working with public service providers and public authorities.
Service routing and mapping experience would be an advantage.
Experience working/volunteering in charitable organizations is appreciated.
Knowledge of bureaucratic procedures for accessing government services, including registration, availability, availability, legal issues, etc.
Knowledge of vulnerability, disability and intersecting needs.
Excellent communication skills and strong social and consulting skills.
Knowledge of technical guidelines and standards related to humanitarian work and protection will be an advantage.
Experience in safeguarding and psychosocial support during emergency response would be an advantage.
Ability to monitor and report, follow procedures, meet deadlines, work independently, proactively and collaborate with team members.
Strong humanitarian convictions, a sense of responsibility and respect for the privacy of personal data.
Strong organizational skills.
A confident user of Microsoft Office (with an emphasis on Excel and Word).
KEY DUTIES:
Under the supervision of a Social Work Specialist, the Social Worker will support the implementation of social and protection projects. This position involves direct interaction with the affected population in need of social assistance/protection. The aim is to ensure that a people-centred and needs-based approach is implemented in the provision of assistance and services to people in need, with particular attention to particularly vulnerable populations such as people with disabilities and the elderly.
