Education:Higher education in social work, social protection, social services, integration of persons with disabilities, sociology, law, humanities, humanities, social sciences or other relevant field.
Experience jobs:
- At least 2 years of practical experience working in public or private social services for vulnerable populations or similar experience.
- Experience working with public service providers and public authorities preferred.
- Experience in referral and service mapping would be an advantage.
- Experience working/volunteering with charities is preferred organizations.
Knowledge of languages: Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian. Knowledge of English will be an advantage.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of bureaucratic procedures for accessing public services including registration, accessibility, availability, legal issues etc.
- Knowledge of vulnerability, disability and intersection of needs.
- Excellent communication skills and strong social and consultation skills.
- Knowledge of technical guidelines and standards related to humanitarian action and protection will be an advantage.
- Experience in protection and psychosocial support during emergency response will be an advantage.
- Ability to monitor and report, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines, work independently, proactively and collaborate with team members.
- Strong humanitarian convictions, sense of responsibility and respect for confidentiality personal data.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.

OBJECTIVE:
Supervised by Senior Security Specialist, Social the employee will support the implementation of social and protection projects, including as part of an integrated mobile unit (IMP).
This position involves direct interaction with the affected population in need of social assistance/protection. The aim is to ensure that a people-centred and needs-based approach is implemented when providing assistanceand services to people who need them, with special attention to particularly vulnerable population groups, such as persons with disabilities and senior citizens.
TASKS AND DUTIES:
1.Implementation of social and protection projects
- Provide personalized social support and protection support, following a protection consultation approach, and activities complementary to PUI's protection consultation activities..
- Interact with community members, public figures, institutions and other organizations to track progress and successes in meeting needs, identify service gaps, quality, mapping and safe referrals.
- Conduct community protection activities, including, but not exclusively, group informational and educational sessions on protection issues for the affected population with the aim of proactively reducing risks in the field of protection and building resilience.
- Support outreach activities - activities in (in the field of) community mobilization.
2. Internal and External Referral
- Conduct and support internal and external referral processes for individuals or households in a safe, timely and efficient manner in accordance with the PUI referral system.
- Act as a contact person for referrals.
- Maintain contact with relevant sectoral staff within the PUI, as well as with humanitarian organizations and external government agencies or non-governmental services.
- Ensure coordination, referral and follow-up of complex cases requiring humanitarian protection to the case management team to ensure appropriate case resolution.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the network of social services and protection services for referral and partnership building.
3. Assessment, monitoring, reporting
- Register and track case information, following international protection standards as well as PUI data management procedures and principles, as well as carefully fill out all necessary forms.
- Implement tools and means for monitoring and make sure of the expediency and effectiveness of completed projects.
- Participate in monitoring the technical quality of social and protection projects and their compliance to the PUI protection system.
- Ensure internal and external reporting.
4. Teamwork and Coordination
- Participate in project team field activities, including as part of Integrated Mobile Units (IMUs)
- Contribute to the identification, selection and delivery of social and protection services, and ensure a people-centred and needs-based approach to integrated and cross-sectoral assistance and services provided by IPUs.
- Participate in working group and mission meetings and provide security information.
Other Duties
- Always follow safety rules.
- Always adhere to the policy of ZSEN and the code of conduct of the PUI.
- Notify the senior protection specialist of any problem, difficulty or change, especially regarding the quality implementation of the project.
- Interact with managers to ensure the necessary logistical arrangements for field activities (transportation, materials, etc.).
- Ensure a two-way communication process with beneficiaries, as well as implement a complaint and feedback response mechanism that beneficiaries should be aware of.
- Participate in project capitalization by providing any documents created to the Senior Security Officer for review (trainings, performance reviews, evaluation tools, etc.).

GENERAL OBJECTIVE
Under supervision of the Deputy Protection Project Manager, the Social Worker will support the implementation of social/protection activities, including as part of the Integrated Mobile Unit (IMU).
This position has a strong focus on the direct interaction with affected populations in need of social/protection assistance. The objective is to ensure the implementation of a people-centered and needs-based approach in delivering assistance and services for people in need, with a specific focus on particularly vulnerable individuals with a specific focus on particularly vulnerable individuals, such as people with disabilities and older people.
TASKS AND DUTIES

- Provide personalised social and protection support, following protection counselling approach and PUI’s protection counselling complementary activities.

- Facilitate the development and the efficiency of a social and protection services network for referral and partnership building.

- Ensure a two-way communication process is established with the beneficiaries, and that the complaints and feedback response mechanism is implemented and known by the beneficiaries.
- Participate in the capitalization of the project by sharing any documents created with the Deputy Protection PM for validation (training, activity overviews, assessment tools etc.)
