Our client provides applications for merchants of the Shopify platform helping improve their stores easily and comfortably while using the simple and familiar Shopify UI and concepts:

The Platform, which maximizes your earnings with lightning-fast sales, time-sensitive discounts, ticking-clock deals, and savvy sales metrics!

The Application, which eliminates the burden of manual upsells and embraces the ease of cart boosts and post-purchase persuasion.

The Product to unleash the power of their brand with tailor-made affiliate marketing!

Responsibilities:

• Keep track of the Shopify tools versions releases and update the APPs respectively.
• Support existing and create new UI, checkout and other extensions, extension blocks
• Assist with shop configuration for existing clients.
• Manage the front end of the apps (liquid, polaris) using the backend REST-API

Requirements:

• 3+ YOE with Shopify stores set up and configuration.
• 3+ YOE with creating Shopify themes using the SDK.
• 3+ YOE with building Shopify Apps and Extensions using the SDK.

Expected proficiency with: 

• "Built for Shopify" badge requirements for apps
• Shopify API (GraphQL and REST) and versions management
• Shopify Webhooks
• Shopify CLI
• Shopify UI extensions
• Shopify Checkout extensions
• Shopify Extensions blocks 
• Shopify Embedded apps
• Shopify Polaris
• Shopify App Bridge
• Shopify Liquid/Hydrogen
• ReactJS + Typescript

Will be a plus:

• Familiarity with Node JS, Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• Familiarity with Polaris View Components (ruby library)
• Tailwind framework

Hourly rate: up to $20/h with the workload of 40 hours per week/ full-time.

Duration of the cooperation:  6+ months (with possibility of prolongation).
