Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in Automat-it

You will have an opportunity to start working on a project from scratch and be involved in technology selection, POC's and of course technical implementation itself.

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with a preference for experience in TypeScript and Playwright or relevant strong experience in other JavaScript-based testing frameworks such as WDIO or Cypress. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both automation and manual testing, with proven abilities to validate requirements, propose improvements, and perform meaningful work that enhances the overall quality of our software products.

Work location - hybrid from Lviv 

• Collaborate with business and team to understand project requirements. Validate requirements and provide feedback to improve clarity and testability. Ensure that these requirements are accurately translated into test cases
• Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts using the TypeScript and Playwright framework
• Conduct comprehensive manual testing of web applications, ensuring they meet requirements and high standards of quality
• Identify, document, and track bugs. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
• Monitor and increase test coverage based on priorities
• Continuously evaluate testing processes and tools for improvement. Advocate for best practices in test automation and quality assurance
• Work closely with development, product, and other team members to ensure cohesive and quality-focused development processes
• Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in QA automation and software development. Share knowledge and insights with the team to foster continuous improvement

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of overall experience in QA engineering, with 2 years experience in automation testing
• Perfect in-depth knowledge of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with Scrum or similar agile development processes
• Proficiency with Playwright or other JavaScript-based testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, WebDriverIO, Jest, Protractor) with an openness to learn Playwright
• Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into the build process
• Strong expertise in Requirements testing, API testing, Web testing
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Knowledge of performance and security testing – advantage
• Familiarity and practical experience with AWS - advantage
• Experience with billing systems testing - advantage
