JOB INFORMATION
The senior case management specialist supervises the provision of case management services in the Kharkiv region. The Senior Case Management Specialist is responsible for supervising social workers, providing day-to-day supervision and mentoring. The Senior Case Management Officer will report to the Case Manager and ProL Manager based in Kharkiv.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Implementation of protection monitoring supervision and activity analysis
- Support PRoL Manager and Case Manager local partners in the development and implementation of case management services.
- Update data on the provision of social services by non-governmental and state institutions in the city and region.
- Participate in supporting the team in providing service to clients.
- Collaborate with WPE, CP, Health, ERD teams to redirect clients.
- Provide provisions regarding the creation and updating of forms in CommCare in terms of case management.
- Support the PRoL Manager and Case Manager in terms of providing information on the implementation of case management, creating reports and current needs.
2. Ensuring constant monitoring of the referral tracker by caseworkers >
- To control that referrals are taken into work by case workers, appropriate marks are made and referrals are taken into work, and the system for tracking the status of referrals is updated.
3. Case management and psychosocial support
-Responsible for the general provision of case management services and the provision of non-specialized psychosocial support services.
Plans and implements activities in accordance with the overall work plan of the program and weekly travel plans.
-Supports and supervises the work of social workers by providing technical supervision when reviewing complex or complex cases with the team, and appropriately distributes tasks within the team. Ensures staff implementation and adherence to IRC best practices and protocols for case management and psychosocial support.
-Supports the development of internal guidelines and SOPs for the provision of case management services in thework with PRoL Manager and Case Manager.
-Educates employees on customer identification for case management, protection tools, security vulnerabilities and risks
-Create weekly work plans for case workers, in particular visiting centers and shelters with other team members, as well as taking measures to support case management
