Senior BI Data Engineer (Azure | PowerBI | DAX | SQL)

We are looking for an experienced BI Data Engineerresponsible for designing, developing and maintaining advanced data models in the Analysis Services (AS) environment and creating interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in SQL, DAX, Power BI and experience working with ETL tools and the Azure cloud.

Terms of engagement:

Project industry: IT Consulting

Location: 100% remote

Start: ASAP (we accept candidates with a maximum of 2 months' notice)

< b> Commitment: B2B (outsourcing from 1dea), full-time, long-term

B2B rate (set individually):  PLN 170 - 210 net + VAT / h

Recruitment process (100% remotely):

• Short informational telephone conversation - introduction with the 1dea recruiter (~10 min)
• Design and technical interview with the Tech Leader of the Project at the client's site (~ 60 min)
• (optional) Additional technical interview with 1-2 people from the client's project team (~1.5 h)
• Decision to start cooperation

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT consulting and working with data
• Solid experience in Data Warehouse, data modeling and visualization
• Advanced knowledge of SQL / T-SQL (preferred knowledge of SparkSQL)
• Experience in data transformation and building complex KPIs in SQL and DAX
• Advanced skills in Analysis Services Tabular and Power BI (premium and as a service), including: Design, development and optimization of complex data models/datasets  Creating paginated reports and dashboards  Complex Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for custom calculations and measures  Power Query for data transformation   
• Knowledge of data integration tools and techniques
• Knowledge of Databricks, Azure Data Factory and other Azure services
• Good understanding of the business model and experience working with business data

• Deep understanding of data analysis and visualization principles
• Ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability independent work and teamworkle
• Key English at the level of free communication in speech and writing (B2+)
