Senior ASP.NET Core Developer (Back-end) in NIK-ELEKTRONIKA, TOV

NIK-Elektronika LLC - a leading Ukrainian manufacturer of equipment for automating energy accounting. We create modern electricity, water and heat meters, as well as software for their management. For more than 20 years, we have been implementing innovative solutions for transparent and efficient accounting of energy resources, working both on the Ukrainian and international markets.

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Back-end Developer to join our development team. You will play a key role in the design, development and support of high-performance and scalable enterprise solutions based on .NET Core.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Architecture and development of new functionality, API (RESTful/gRPC) and services using ASP.NET Core.
• Optimization: Identification and remediation bottlenecks, optimizing code and database queries to ensure high performance and system reliability.
• Code Review and Mentoring: Conducting code reviews, ensuring adherence to quality standards and mentoring junior team members.
• Architectural Decisions: Independent selection and justification of technical solutions, application of modern architectural patterns (Clean Architecture, DDD, Microservices).
• Testing: Ensuring high code quality through writing unit and integration tests.

Basic Requirements (Must-Have):

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of commercial backend development experience, of which 3+ years directly with ASP.NET Core.
• C#/.NET Core: Expertise in C# (async/await, multithreading, LINQ) and deep understanding of the .NET Core (GC, Memory Management) framework.
• Web API: Experience developing high-load RESTful APIs.
• Databases: Expertise in SQL (query optimization, indexes) and experience with Entity Framework Core (advanced level) or Dapper.
• Architecture: Practical application of SOLID, DRY and knowledge of 700"> design templates (Design Patterns).
• Version Control: Confident command of Git.
• Testing: Experience writing unit and integration tests (xUnit/NUnit).

Nice-to-Have:

• Docker experience." and Kubernetes.
• Practical knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud).
• Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus).
• Knowledge and experience with Redis or other in-memory caches.
• Experience in configuring CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
