Senior C#, .NET Framework Developer (Desktop) in NIK-ELEKTRONIKA, TOV

For more than 20 years, we have been implementing innovative solutions for transparent and efficient accounting of energy resources, working both on the Ukrainian and international markets. 700">.NET Framework to develop and support complex Desktop applications that are critical to our business processes.

This role requires expert knowledge of the .NET Framework, architectural design skills, and the ability to manage the lifecycle of large applications.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture and Development: Design, develop and support mission-critical Desktop applications using .NET Framework and corresponding UI technologies (WPF or WinForms).
• Optimization: Performance analysis, identification and elimination of "bottlenecks" in old applications, refactoring and modernization of code.
• Integration: Integration of desktop solutions with external systems and databases, development of services and components.
• Mentoring: Conducting Code Review, providing technical assistance and mentoring junior developers.
• Management Technical Debt: Developing strategies to reduce technical debt and ensure long-term support for applications. 700">Experience: Minimum 5+ years of commercial C#/.NET software development experience.
• .NET Framework: Proficiency in the .NET Framework (4.5+) and a deep understanding of its inner workings.
• Desktop UI: Experience developing complex interfaces using WinForms (preferably) or WPF.
  • For WPF: Deep knowledge XAML, Binding, Dependency Properties, Custom Controls and MVVM patterns (ViewModel-First or View-First).
• C#: Expertise in C# (LINQ, Generics, multithreading, TPL).
• Databases: Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational DBMS; deep knowledge of T-SQL and experience with ADO.NET and/or Entity Framework.
• Patterns: Practical application of SOLID and Design Patterns.
• Testing: Experience in writing unit tests and integration tests.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience migrating desktop applications from .NET Framework to .NET (Core).
• Knowledge of WCF or technologies style="font-weight: 700">ASP.NET Web API for developing internal application services.
• Experience with DevExpress, Telerik or other UI libraries.
• Knowledge of ClickOnce or MSI technologies for application deployment.
• Experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD) for Desktop applications.
