ACF is looking for a security specialistto join its team in the city of Kharkiv.

The main objectives of this position are to manage the security of the team, tracking movements, collecting all necessary information related to the security situation, monitor the situation for the security management of people and assets, accompany trips to conduct security audit missions. intervention context;

  • Responsibilities

    Mission 1: Collecting the necessary information about the security situation (under the coordination of the country security manager)

    Tasks:

    • Collect ongoing information on all aspects of security and consolidate the incident database.

    Mission 2: Monitoring and control of the security situation for employees in the office and on the road

    Tasks:

    • Coordinating the work of field teams.

    • Monitoringand assessment of proliferation and security compliance. Participate in the pre-deployment security assessment of the team.
    • Training and training teams when necessary (with support from the Humanitarian Affairs Manager and the Country Security Manager).

    Mission 3: Participate in the organization and management security of employees and cargo during field team visits

    Tasks:

    • Ensure proper compliance with security procedures related to the movement of teams.
    • Ensure effective use of contacts and their further development.
    • Assist in the management of on-site security incidents.
    • Obtaining administrative clearances for teams to reach their destination if necessary

    Mission 4: Facilitate Organizational Communication and communities in the regions where it operates

    Tasks:

    • Inform ACF employees about cultural mechanisms and contribute to the understanding of community perception of ACF and NGOs.
    • Participation in explaining activities and ACF tasks to partners and the public.
    • Ensuring secure communication between communities/authorities and the Organization.

    Tasks:

    • Ensure adherence to and demonstration of ACF values such as helping people in need, non-discrimination, transparency, neutrality, independence and professionalism.

    • Implement all work-related activities with consideration for gender, inclusion and child protection.
