Research Lead & Analyst in Fond Shidna Evropa

The Eastern Europe Foundation announces a competition for the position of head of research and analytics for the implementation of the program implemented by the organization.

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine.

Work format:

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Analytics and research:

—conduct a systematic analysis of global trends, models and practices in the field of EdTech and AI in Education;

— prepare analytical materials: reviews, policy briefs, recommendations;

— identify key risks, opportunities, and technological trends for education in Ukraine.

• Recommendations and educational policies:

—form practical recommendations on educational reforms, implementation of AI, overcoming teacher shortages and pilot launch/evaluation;

—turn global innovations into local solutions for the Ukrainian education system.

• Research projects:

— to develop research methodologies (quantitative/qualitative);

— to evaluate the effectiveness of EdTech solutions and prepare research reports;

to collect and analyze data (surveys, interviews, desk research). Interaction with stakeholders: to work with universities, research centers, international organizations; style="font-style: normal; font-weight: 400">-gather local data and insights through schools, communities, departments of education.

Reporting and coordination:

- preparation of regular updates on progress, risks, needs and KPIs;

coordination with the head of the CoE and the WINWIN team.

Qualification and experience:

• Higher education in the field of social sciences, educational sciences, public policy, analytics or related fields. Master's degree preferred (MPP, MA Education, Public Policy, Data & Evidence, Statistics).
• 4+ years of experience in research, analytics, EdTech, education policy, etc.vations or the implementation of technologies. Experience in conducting research, evaluating pilots, working with data, preparing analytical products. Experience in international programs, think tanks or EdTech companies is desirable.
• Basic knowledge in the field of project management.
• Proficiency: Google Workspace; data analysis tools (Excel/Sheets); research tools (Forms, Typeform, SurveyMonkey); visualization (Canva, Slides); basic understanding of modern EdTech solutions and AI models. Preferably: PowerBI / Tableau Stata / R / Python for data analysis.
• Proficiency in English at a high level - for interaction with international partners.
