Charitable organization "Stabilization Support Services Charitable Foundation" (BO "ССС") announces an open competition to fill the vacant position of a regional social specialist in the Kherson region (the candidate can live in the Mykolaiv region) (Specialist in social work Code 2446.2) in the project "Supporting the capacity of state institutions and local communities in strengthening the social protection system in Ukraine", which is implemented by the "SSS" organization with the financial support of the UNHCR.

Responsibilities:

• Providing legal information, clarifications on legal issues to specialists in the social sphere social protection of the population);
• Writing of legal documents (except procedural documents);
• Preparation of responses to written appeals, complaints, requests for information that will be sent to the regional team;
• Supporting communication with state authorities, local self-government bodies, structural subdivisions of the social protection system and public organizations;
• Organization and holding of public events organizations;
• Participation in the preparation of proposals and recommendationsin the field of improving the social protection of internally displaced persons;
• Performance of other current project tasks.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Higher legal education (or similar work experience of 1 year);
• Experience of providing services in this field;
• Experience of participation in public activities;
• Understanding the local context of internal resettlement;
• Awareness of humanitarian principles and rights standards human;
• Understanding the context of the sphere of ensuring the rights and freedoms of IDPs;
• Experience of cooperation with local and regional authorities;
• Confident use of PC and mobile devices;
• Confident user of Microsoft Office and G-Suite;
• Ability to meet deadlines, availability of time management skills;
• Strong communication skills, high level empathy;
• High level of motivation and willingness to work in the social sphere;
• Ability to be flexible in a rapidly changing environment;
• Fluent command of the Ukrainian language (knowledge of English will be an advantage).

The competition will take place in three stages: the first stage is the evaluation of resumes, the second stage is interviews with candidates invited based on the results of the first stage, the third stage is the provision of recommendations.
