In connection with the expansion of the Foundation's activities and the growth of the Team, we are looking for a new colleague in the team - Regional manager. 

The main goal of the position of Regional Manager in Kryvyi Rih or Dnipro is to ensure the stable and effective operation of the regional office of BF "Ridny" in the eastern regions of Ukraine, the development of partnerships with local authorities, donors and key stakeholders, as well as the implementation of the Fund's programs in the region in accordance with the organization's mission, strategy and values.

Requirements for the candidate:

  • Higher education (management, social sciences, public administration, international relations or related areas);
  • Work experience in NGOs / international organizations / social projects - from 3 years;
  • Practical experience in interaction with local authorities;
  • Experience in team management or project coordination;
  • Understanding the principles of NGO work and the donor environment;
  • Skills in building partnerships and conducting negotiations;
  • Ability to work with several projects in parallel;
  • Ability to work with operational and program reporting;
  • Leadership and proactivity;
  • Strong communication and organizational skills;
  • Strategic thinking and orientation to results and social impact;
  • Flexibility, stress resistance, willingness to work in a dynamic environment;
  • Proficiency in Ukrainian and English at a high level.

Your areas of responsibility:

  • Building, developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with local authorities, international and local NGOs, donors, business, educational and public organizations. Initiation and support of memorandums of cooperation;
  • Coordination of joint initiatives, working groups, consultations and projects, as well as representation of the interests of the Fund at the regional level;
  • Representation of the organization at clusters, coordination meetings, forums, round tables, working groups and other specialized events;
  • Coordination of the use and adaptation of communicationsand marketing materials. Interaction with the head office/communication team regarding regional positioning;
  • Management of the regional team: setting tasks, coordination of implementation, development, motivation and support of employees;
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures and standards of the organization, control of administrative, operational, logistical and security processes in the region;
  • Participation in the formation and implementation of the regional development strategies, analysis of the needs of the region in interaction with communities, local government and partners;
  • Initiation of new programs, projects and areas of activity of the Fund;
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of the regional office and program implementation, preparation of operational and program reports for the head office and donors within the limits of competence;
  • Administration of office activities taking into account the security situation in the region.

The trial period for the position is 6 months.
