The Foundation is an executive partner of the UNHCR and carries out direct legal aid programs throughout Ukraine, promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.
BF "Right to Protection" is looking for a candidate for the position of Regional Coordinator repairs in social institutions in the city of Dnipro (Dnipropetrovsk region).
GEOGRAPHY OF COVERAGE
The regional coordinator is based in in the city of Dnipro. The activity involves regular visits within the established regions (Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Odesa), as well as possible business trips to other cities.
DUTIES AND DUTIES
- responsible for achieving project results in the assigned areas on time, with the fulfillment of all the requirements and features of the project application and within the agreed budget;
- prepares planned and unplanned reports on operational activities within the project;
- presents the results of the project's internal and external discussions, cluster coordination meetings;
TASKS WITHIN THE PROJECT
In cooperation with the program manager of the area, the team of regional engineers, the senior accountant and the project manager:
- develop calendar plans for the execution of the project;
- establish communication with the administrations of institutions and with representatives of contracting organizations;
- set up a system of constant monitoring of the fact of work performance, maintaining communication with the implementation team, exchange of statuses of work performance;
- regular visits to facilities in order to control the actual status of work performance;
- analyze any deviations from the planned calendar plan;
- take an active part in overcoming the causes of delays in the fulfillment of project conditions;
- documentally accompany each stage of the implementation of works, control and agree on volumes and technologies, initiate documentary support for all deviations from the plan;
- react to incidents that may occur at repair sites;
- other unplanned actions that should improve the quality of work, prevent the occurrence of negative consequences and reduce losses in the event of incidents;
- Comply with the Code of Conduct and the Fund's Policies.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- preferably 2 years of experience in international donor projects;
- high self-motivation, independence, efficiency and the ability to meet deadlines - a must;
- excellent analytical skills, attention to detail;
- ability to gather information according to project goals and objectives;
- preparation and writing skills reports;
- excellent communication skills;
- strategic thinking and problem solving skills;
- willingness for local and remote business trips (up to 80% of working time);
- having your own car will be an advantage.
A significant advantage will be:
- professional construction education;
- reading construction drawings;
- ability to work with construction documentation and estimates;
- understanding of construction and repair work processes, construction material consumption standards;
- ability to evaluate the object from the point of view of priority construction work.
