UnitiWall is expanding its remote team and is seeking a proactive, self-starting Remote Recruiter who is passionate about talent sourcing and building strong teams. This role offers flexible work arrangements, with the potential to be full-time and to support HR administration.

As a Remote Recruiter, you will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and hiring top talent for UnitiWall. You will work closely with hiring managers, learn the Canadian market, and leverage recruitment platforms to deliver an outstanding candidate experience.

What You'll Be Doing

Talent Sourcing & Recruitment:

• Proactively source candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other recruitment technologies relevant to the Canadian market.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles, leveraging networking in forums, social media groups, and industry communities.
• Source and select candidates for both technical specialist and labor positions.
• Reach out to candidates, initiate engaging communication, assess their interest and suitability, and present opportunities in a compelling and persuasive manner.
• Screen resumes and evaluate candidate profiles, experience, and skills to determine job fit and potential for success at UnitiWall.
• Conduct pre-screening interviews via Teams video calls or phone to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, supporting onboarding and candidate communications throughout the recruitment process.
• Manage candidate data efficiently using applicant tracking systems to streamline and automate the hiring process.
• Develop a strong understanding of the Canadian job market and UnitiWalls hiring needs, collaborating with HR and hiring managers to refine job descriptions and recruitment strategies.
• Provide feedback and insights to improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.

HR Administration Support:

• Assist with HR administrative tasks as needed, including documentation and record-keeping.
• Ensure all candidate and employee information is accurate and up to date.

Work Hours & Flexibility

The Remote Recruiter must be flexible and available to conduct interviews and recruitment activities during evenings, as needed, to accommodate candidates and hiring managers based on Toronto (Eastern) time.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications, but even if you don't meet all the criteria, we still encourage you to apply

• Prior recruitment experience is required, ideally in a remote or international setting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• Experience using recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and applicant tracking systems.
• Confident conducting interviews via Teams video calls or over the phone.
• Willingness to learn about the Canadian market and UnitiWalls specific hiring needs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration.
• Experience supporting HR administration is an asset.
