Responsibilities:

• Team development and education : Foster the professional growth of each QA team member through mentorship, training, and development programs. Ensure every team member is equipped with the skills and knowledge required for their roles.
• Strategy development and implementation : Define and develop the overall strategy for the QA department in collaboration with the team. Take ownership of the strategy, ensuring its successful implementation and monitoring the results.
• Team Management : Manage the QA team’s day-to-day activities, including processes, communication, and meetings. Foster a positive and productive team environment.
• Resource Management : Take part in the hiring process, onboarding process, manage team workloads, and ensure the team has the capacity and capability to meet its goals beyond routine operational activities.
• Cross-Departmental Communication : Facilitate effective communication between the QA team and other departments, including back-end, front-end, and business teams. Ensure all communication needs for team members are met.
• Performance Assessment : Conduct performance assessments for the QA team, setting up clear goals for performance appraisals. Ensure continuous feedback and development plans are in place.
• QA documentation: Management of the documentation, test cases, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across multiple parallel projects.
• Automation: Collaborate with other team members on the organization and management of automation tests, ensuring that all processes and priorities are set according to the team goals and company strategy.

Qualifications (must have):

• Proven experience in QA leadership roles. Management of the teams working in several directions (back-end and API testing, manual UI testing, autotests, documentation, etc.)
• Technical higher education or experience working as a backend/full-stack developer
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience with autotest frameworks and their implementation
• Ability to mentor and train team members

Qualifications (nice to have):

• Experience in CI/CD processes to implement autotests frameworks
