QA Engineer(Junior / Trainee) in AmericaCars

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team to test software products and ensure their stable, high-quality operation. This position is ideal for candidates with no experience, with minimal work experience, as well as students who want to enter IT and develop in the field of software testing.

We work on modern digital products and value attention, logical thinking and the desire to make the product better.

Main responsibilities: 
Functional testing

• Conducting manual testing of web and/or mobile applications

• Verifying functionality against requirements

• Testing new features and updates

• Regression testing before releases

Working with bugs

• Search, replay and detail description errors

• Creating bug reports in tracking systems (Jira or similar)

• Checking fixes after their implementation

• Product quality control at all stages of development

Test documentation

• Creating and updating test cases

• Writing checklists and of test scenarios

• Maintenance of basic test documentation

• Participation in the improvement of testing processes

Interaction with the team

• Cooperation with developers, managers and designers

• Participation in team meetings

• Discussion of requirements and possible risks

• Providing product quality feedback

Learning and development

• Introduction to QA processes within the team

• Learning testing tools

• Progressive development to Junior QA Engineer

• Application of theoretical knowledge in practice

Requirements for candidate:

• Basic understanding of software testing principles

• Attention to details and analytical thinking

• Ability to clearly formulate thoughts

• Willingness to learn and work in a team

• Responsibility and systematicity

• No work experience mandatory

Would be an advantage:

• Learning or pet projects

• Understanding SDLC and STLC

• Basic knowledge of HTML / CSS

• Experience with bug-tracking systems

• Basic understanding of API or SQL
