Project Officer/Project Officer

Terre des hommes is looking for a proactive, energetic and competent "Project Officer" to join our team in the city of Kharkiv to support the implementation of the organization's project. POSITION DESCRIPTION

The project specialist is responsible for effective project support from the point of view of organization, communication, compliance with administrative and financial procedures and support of beneficiaries.

Ensures the effective performance of the tasks assigned to the Detached Division of the "Terre des hommes" Foundation in Ukraine (Tdh) regarding the development of the potential of partners to provide social support to the most vulnerable families with children.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitoring of educational institutions.
• Communication with the management of educational institutions where the project will be implemented.
• Communication with representatives of the authorities in the communities where the project will be implemented.
• Organization of trainings from the given topics.
• Data entry into the database.
• Project reporting.
• Technical and informational support of project participants at all stages of its implementation.
• Systematic business trips to the location where the project will be implemented with the purpose of monitoring and support.
• Timely communication with the manager in case of problems questions.

Requirements:

Education / Qualification:

• Professional diploma/higher education in the field of social work, social studies, humanitarian disciplines or another related discipline.
• Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in a similar position
• Previous work experience in an NGO is an advantage.

Language skills:

• Fluency in Ukrainian, good command of English will be an advantage.

Good knowledge of IT (Microsoft Office, Internet).
