Project Mobilizer (Community Mobilizer) in Grin-Landiya, Gromadska organizaciya

GO "Green-Landia" is a public organization that focuses its activities on improving the quality of life of the population through the promotion of healthy food, conscious consumption, and the development of physical activity. During the war, we consolidated resources in the direction of humanitarian and psychosocial assistance to people living in the territories affected by hostilities, we improve the conditions of temporary stay of evacuated residents in transit and receiving regions.

GOGreenlandia in partnership with theDanish Council for Refugee Affairs in Ukraine(DRC) invitesmmobilizer for the effective implementation of the project by involving local communities in activities, establishing communication between residents, partners and the organization's team, as well as promoting the development of local initiatives and community sustainability.

Main tasks:

• Establishing contacts and maintaining constant communication with representatives of communities, local authorities, partner organizations;
• Organizing and conducting information meetings, presentations and events to attract project participants;
• Monitoring community needs and transfer of collected information to the project coordinator;
• Supporting the implementation of psychosocial, educational and educational activities in communities;
• Providing logistical support during events (preparation of locations, lists of participants, communication with local partners);
• Collection of quality and quantitative information for reporting (participants, photos, brief description of events);
• Supporting the distribution of informational materials and increasing public awareness of the organization's activities;
• Supporting the development of local initiatives and active community participation in project implementation.

Requirements to the candidate:

• Experience of working with communities, in the public sector, social or humanitarian projects will be an advantage;
• Excellent communication and organizational skills;
• Ability to work with people from different social groups and create trusting relationships;
• Ability to work independently and efficiently plan time;
• Knowledge of the Ukrainian language (oral and written);
• Readiness for business trips.

It will be an advantage:

• Experience in implementing events at the communities;
• Understanding the principles of psychosocial support and humanitarian response.
