Assignment
Under the management of the Project Officer, Project Assistant is responsible for conducting program beneficiary selection and program monitoring; also responsible for providing assistance to beneficiaries.
Functions
- Participate in the identification and verification process for beneficiary selection under the direction of the Project Manager, Project Officer.
- Participate directly in the accountability and adaptability mainstreaming with particular focus as a primary interlocutor with affected population and beneficiaries applying listening strategies and mindfulness in behavior.
- Identify cases for referral to other agencies/service providers
- Participate in the baseline and end line surveys under the direction of the Project Manager, Project Officer.
- Implement accountability mechanism of routine and post distribution monitoring activities under the direction of the Project Manager, Project Officer.
- Respond to beneficiary complaints in accordance with the accountability complaints and feedback mechanism.
- Under the coordination of the Project Manager, Project Officer, engage with beneficiaries and other stakeholders to ensure the beneficiaries are listened to and engaged in the programming process.
- Carry out other duties as requested by Project Officer and Project Manager.
Experience and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration /Economics / similar field or relevant practical experience.
- Experience in the use of computer and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.).
- Good knowledge of use of excel spreadsheets.
- Commitment to high quality adaptive and accountable humanitarian programming.
- Fluent Ukrainian.
Preferred requirements:
- Prior experience in Cash programs.
- Experience in the use of database packages (e.g. Access).
- Basic English.
Project assistant of the department: "Cash assistance" (CASH), under the guidance of the project manager, specialist, is responsible for the selection of program beneficiaries and program monitoring; and is also responsible for providing assistance to beneficiaries.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Participate in the identification and verification process for beneficiary selection as directed by management.
- Directly participate in the process of implementing accountability and adaptability, with a particular focus on acting as the primary contact person for the affected population and beneficiaries using a listening strategy and aware behavior.
- Identifying cases for referral to other agencies/service providers.
- Participating in initial and final surveys as directed by management.
- Implementing accountability mechanism for day-to-day monitoring and post-distribution monitoring activities under the direction of a manager, specialist of the project.
- Responding to beneficiary complaints in accordance with the grievance and feedback accountability mechanism.
- Interacting with beneficiaries and other stakeholders to ensure that beneficiaries are heard and involved in the program development process in coordination with management.
- Performing other duties at the request of management.
Assistant department project: "Granting financial aid" should know:
- Internal normative, methodical and other management materials of the relevant department;
- Legislative foundations and normative acts governed by the relevant department;
- Rules and norms of labor protection.
Eligibility requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Economics / equivalent major or relevant practical experience.
- Experience with computer and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.).
- High level of skills in working with Excel spreadsheets.
- Commitment to the principles of high-quality adaptive and accountable humanitarian programs.
- Fluent command of the Ukrainian language.
- Previous experience in financial aid programs is an advantage (Cash) According to current legislation, upon employment, conscripted citizens of Ukraine must provide military registration documents and update their military registration data.
