The International Charitable Foundation "Caritas of Ukraine" announces a competition for the vacant position - Assistant Project Manager.

Project "Emergency Humanitarian Support in Sumy and Kharkiv Regions"

The project is aimed at solving the basic needs of IDPs and easing their condition in the initial stages of evacuation. The project is flexible and involves the opening of new locations (in particular, in the city of Barvinkovo) and the inclusion of new types of activities.

The project involves activities in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions.

• Activities in the Sumy region are conducted in two locations - the city of Sumy and the city of Romny.
• In the Sumy region, provision of humanitarian assistance in the form of MPCA (Multi-purpose cash assistance) is provided. In addition, it is planned to deploy a mobile heating point in the city of Sumy.
• Activities in the Kharkiv region are conducted in one location - the city of Lozova.
• In the Kharkiv region, it is planned to provide humanitarian aid to IDPs from settlements along the line of hostilities. Assistance is provided at the Transit Center in Lozov. In particular, Caritas of Ukraine together with Caritas Kharkiv provides hot meals, evacuation, personal and institutional hygiene, care for persons with reduced mobility and other necessary support.
• Potentially, the activity can be expanded to neighboring regions.

Duties:

• Ability to effectively organize the work of personnel.
• Determining the needs of beneficiaries, developing and implementing individual action plans at the local level, as well as monitoring and evaluating the results of project implementation in the relevant area.
• Understanding the needs of project beneficiaries.
• Preparing the necessary reporting in accordance with project requirements.

Requirements:

• Complete higher education.
• Work experience in the humanitarian, legal, software or related fields.
• Knowledge of the basics of project management and project
• Skills for successful implementation of projects — management, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation.
• Understanding the standards and ethical principles of humanitarian and social assistance.
• Understanding the peculiarities of work and rules of conduct in the territory of project implementation.
• Proficiency in Ukrainian at the native level.
• Proficiency in English at a level not lower than A2.
• Confident command computer and programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), as well as skills in working with search engines and Internet resources.
