Caritas France - Secours Catholique is looking for an evaluation expert for the "Voices of Children" project

Expected results are based on two main components:

• The results of the humanitarian aid project.

• Internal project management:

• Administrative aspects;  

• Work and coordination between different employees.

Project description

Belongs to:

• improving the mental health of children, their guardians and teachers with the help of psychological and psychosocial support , as well as special training and information and education campaigns on mental health;

• reducing the plight of families with children by providing them with winter items (blankets, pillows, etc.)

The Children's Voices Foundation specializes in psychosocial support ( PZPSP/MHPSS), but at the same time provides humanitarian aid, since it is impossible to achieve physical and mental health without meeting basic needs.

Responsibilities of the project assessment expert:

• check project documentation and available statistics;

• collect quantitative and qualitative indicators, conduct interviews and focus groups with the program's target groups;

• to analyze the views of target groups and partners;

• collect information in key government institutions, partners and public/non-governmental organizations (in the private sector), through interviews and visits;

• prepare a draft report in English and Ukrainian;

• based on the evaluation results, organize a workshop for the "Voices of Children" team and provide recommendations.

Requirements:

• higher education in social sciences, demography and development or other related sciences;

• proven experience in evaluating programs (diagnostic, intermediate / final evaluation) according to various methodologies;

• work experience in projects in the field of protection and mental health and psychosocial support (PZPSP/MHPSS);

• experience in stakeholder analysis and partnership development;

• at least 3 similar evaluations (specify reviewers);

• ability to write a concise and accurate report in a short period of time;

• place of residence in Ukraine, preferably in Kyiv;

• official registration of a private entrepreneur or employed in an accounting and auditing company;

• excellent knowledge of Ukrainian, English and Russian languages.

Statement content:

• technical proposal, which highlights the understanding of the technical task, work methodology and schedule for its completion;

• a financial offer indicating the remuneration excluding taxes and expenses (travel, visa, hotel, meals, etc.) that will be reimbursed based on actual receipts. The financial offer must be in Euros;

• motivational letter highlighting the main points of the proposal;

• resume describing the candidate's experience;

• list of persons to provide recommendations.
