Playtech’s System Performance Group is looking for a talented and motivated Performance Test Engineer with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Your influential mission. You will...

• Test company products for quality and interpret results to ensure products adhere to specifications and standards
• Develop and manage test scenarios, data and testing tools
• Maintain test environments, problem analysis and solution
• Setup load and monitoring environments
• Monitor system under test metrics during a performance test to identify the bottlenecks
• Create accurate and detailed performance test reports using graphical and statistical data of application and server performance metrics that describe detected defects and possible causes
• Analyse defects / test results and be able to deduct the chain of events leading to a failure
• Manage and track work using management tool JIRA
• Collaborate with many stakeholders such as solution managers, devops, project managers and representatives from other teams in English on daily basis
• Communicate with internal development teams regarding requirements clarifications and quality expectations
• Participate in the constant improvement of Performance testing practices, approaches and tools

Components for success. You...

• Have 2+ years of performance testing experience
• Possess strong understanding of performance testing via API
• Have good understanding of networking, web protocols, services, applications and their performance requirements
• Are familiar with standard software development and quality processes, methodologies and tools
• Have practical experience with JMeter, Fiddler, Wireshark, Git and Bash Code as well as are familiat with writing scripts in Python
• Have practical experience with data formats: JSON, XML, YAML
• Have working experience in both Windows and UNIX environments
• Have good spoken and writtenEnglish
• Have good attention to details, sense of curiosity, willingness to take responsibility and good communication skills
• Are able to work on multiple interfaces and projects simultaneously
• Have excellent problem-solving skills, are detailed oriented and are highly analytical
• Are able to learn quickly and willingness to continuously improve yourself

• Basic understanding of Linux
