POSITION DESCRIPTION
Partnership Operations Field Officer reports to the Partnership Manager.
He/she supports the implementation and monitoring of activities carried out by local community organizations (CBOs) and program partners, ensuring effective communication, quality control of implementation and compliance with donor requirements.
The position involves conducting partner assessments, due diligence processes, as well as activities to strengthen the capacity of local CBOs and sub-IPs.
The specialist reports field visit results, risks and lessons learned to the Partnerships Manager for continuous improvement of subgrant management and partner support processes.
He/she also supports field activity monitoring, data collection and verification, and partner report verification.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Supporting partner processes
Evaluation of potential partners, due diligence and preparation of necessary documentation.
Develop a mechanism for subgranting local partners and corresponding templates.
Maintain communication with partners regarding reporting, donor compliance and Tdh organizational policies.
Perform monitoring visits to partners, check the quality of implementation of activities, use of funds, as well as compliance with Tdh policies and procedures.
Identify risks, challenges and best practices of partners, prepare recommendations for the Partnerships Manager.
Ensure timely receipt and verification of descriptive and financial reports from partners.
Preparation for signing grant agreements with partners and other accompanying documents.
2. Development of partners' potential
Contribute to the organization and conduct of trainings, workshops and mentoring sessions for partners.
Support capacity-building initiatives of CBOs aimed at increasing their capacity in program and financial management.
3. Monitoring, reporting and analytics
Conduct trips to the fields to check the progress of activities.
Collect, summarize and transmit data necessary for reporting to donors.
Prepare brief reports on key findings, risks and recommendations for improvement.
4. Coordination
Maintain effective communication between Tdh, partners and local stakeholders.
Facilitate coordination between program, monitoring and logistics teams to ensure proper implementation of partnership activities.
Communicate with various Tdh departments (such as Logistics, Finance, MEAL) to resolveprocessing requests from partners.
Provide translation for local partners when interacting with foreign Tdh employees.

6. Coordination and representation coordination forums.
Develop internal and external networks to support effective advocacy and stakeholder engagement to promote innovative approaches to partnership in the Ukrainian context.
Participate in the exchange of best practices with NGOs and government institutions working in similar conditions.
