NRC invites to work Specialist of the department for working with partners in the city of Dnipro
General duties of the position:
- Adhere to NRC policies, manuals/guidelines and donor requirements.
- Adhere to national laws and policies NRC administration, privacy protection, data protection and data sharing, ensure proper filing.
- Support partners in meeting key compliance standards, including those set forth in NRC Project Implementation Agreements, the NRC Financial Manual, other relevant NRC policies, manuals, guidelines and procedures, as well as donor and auditor standards.
- Support the identification of capacity development needs and provide necessary technical support to partners.
- Provide support to the Partnerships Coordinator in overseeing the financial aspects of the partnership, as well as reporting on the indicators, coverage and quality of the partnerships, including the development of logical schemes and objectives.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports to the line manager at his request.
- Support and facilitate communication and coordination between partners.
- Notice any bottlenecks in the processes and provide suggestions for improving existing ones mechanisms.
Specific responsibilities:
- Support the development of quality partnership proposals (logic schemes, indicators and goals), aligned with NRC formats and standards, in coordination with project managers.
- Participate in building relationships with a wide range of partners and provide support to the Partnership Coordinator in identifying potential partners and their organizational development needs.
- Support to the Partnership Coordinator in conducting an organizational assessment and verification of potential partners in accordance with the ToolkitNRC on partnership issues.
- Support in the preparation of the draft of the project implementation agreement and its annexes, which contain standard information and consolidate contributions from the program and support teams (information about partners, reporting schedule, etc.).
- Support the preparation and participate in meetings on the management of the partnership project cycle (PCC), actively follow up on outstanding partnership issues, keep minutes meetings.
- Responsible for the preparation of supporting documentation submitted by partners together with financial statements.
- Arranges means of verification (MoV) according to the logical frame, as requested.
tools according to the daily routine.- Supporting the tracking of planned, active and closed partnership projects in electronic and paper form, ensuring the availability of all documentation.
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned by the line manager.
General professional competencies for this position:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the field of business administration, social sciences, international development or economics, or in other related fields of knowledge.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in an NGO and/or international organization, preferably in the field of partnership and civil society strengthening.
- A good understanding of Ukrainian civil society is advantage.
Contextual/specific skills, knowledge, necessary education and experience:
- Knowledge of the context, humanitarian response in Ukraine and the Eastern region.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and caution with confidential information.
- A confident user of MS Office 365 programs (including excellent knowledge of Excel).
- Good data management skills.
- Knowledge of the project cycle.
- Fluency in written and spoken Ukrainian and/or Russian.
- Advanced level of English, both written and and oral.
