Occupational safety engineer in SPP Development Ukraine

MAIN TASKS AND FUNCTIONS

• Full control of compliance with the requirements of occupational health and safety legislation at the construction site.
• Organization and maintenance of occupational health and safety documentation (journals, briefings, acts, orders, protocols).
• Conducting introductory briefings.
• Control of the admissions of employees and contractors to performance works.
• Checking the availability of valid certificates, medical examinations, admissions to high-risk works.
• Control of the use of PPE.
• Interaction with representatives of contractors, technical supervision and control bodies.
• Participation in the investigation of possible incidents and the development of preventive measures.
• Daily monitoring of the safe execution of electrical installation, thermomechanical and construction works.
• Participation in the commissioning of a new facility, including the preparation of all necessary permit documentation for the operation of equipment and the performance of high-risk works.
• Represent the interests of the company during inspections of the company's activities by state and local authorities regarding compliance with the legislation in the field of labor protection.

REQUIREMENTS

• Higher education (technical / labor protection).
• Experience as a labor protection engineer from 2 years. On construction sites, it will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of the Law of Ukraine "On Labor Protection", legislative and regulatory acts on labor protection.
• Experience of working with supervisory bodies and services for labor protection, technical and fire safety.
• Practical experience in solving issues, obtaining permits, successful experience in passing inspections, audits.
• Confident PC user, Microsoft Office.
• Responsibility, attention to detail and the ability to work in multitasking conditions.
• Readiness for daily work at the facility.
• Readiness for business trips or relocation within Ukraine (preferred).
