We have formed an experienced and cohesive team and we are looking for an Occupational Safety Engineer.
In particular, we would like to note that we are very grateful to veterans and veterans for their service and give you priority in feedback on our vacancies.
Our expectations from a specialist:
- Higher or basic higher education;
- Perfect knowledge and application of Ukrainian legislation on labor protection and fire safety;
- Work experience of 5 years or more (preferably in companies with several locations/branches);
- A confident PC user (MS Office);
- Mobility and readiness to move.
Will be a plus:
- Work experience in miltek.
Main duties will include:
1. Knowledge of legislation and compliance:
- Constant monitoring of changes in regulations and their prompt implementation in the company's work;
- Development of internal documentation (orders, regulations, instructions);
- Development and updating of local regulations: orders, regulations, programs training;
- Writing instructions on occupational health and safety (OHS) and fire safety (PB) in accordance with the requirements of the law and the specifics of the facilities.
2. Conducting briefings:
- Conducting introductory briefings for all categories of employees and contractors;
- Organization, control and methodical assistance to department heads in conducting initial, repeated and unscheduled briefings;
- Organization of training and knowledge testing:
- Organization and conducting internal training of employees on OP and PB issues;
- Formation of commissions and knowledge verification (reporting of results);
- Coordination of external training in specialized centers for officials and employees performing high-risk work.
3. Certification of workersx places:
- Organization of the full process of certification of workplaces according to working conditions (implementation of results: preparation of orders, protocols).
4. Organization of medical examinations:
- Conducting preliminary (at the time of hiring) and periodic medical examinations in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Health No. 1393 of 09/08/2025 with all approvals from state supervisory bodies;
- Interaction with medical facilities and control in compliance with inspection schedules.
5. Control of locations and audit:
- Regular visits to locations to control the state of labor safety and fire safety and to assist facility managers in organizing labor protection processes.
6. Investigation of accidents:
- Organization and participation in the investigation of industrial accidents, occupational diseases and accidents;
- Preparation of a complete package of documents based on the results of investigations, interaction with regulatory bodies.
7. Provision of PPE:
- Determination of needs, organization of selection and purchase of quality PPE.
- Control over issuance, proper storage and correct use of protective equipment by workers.
8. Other (Fire safety and additional tasks):
- Provision of facilities with primary fire extinguishing means.
- Interaction with state control bodies (State Labor, State Emergency Service).
- Performance of other management assignments within the scope of competence.
