Network engineer, system administrator in D.Zh.E.T.

Hello! We are an innovative miltech company specializing in the development and production of unmanned aerial vehicles. Due to the expansion of our team, we are looking for a Network Engineer/System Administrator with a focus on security, who will ensure the stability and protection of our IT infrastructure.

Location: Kyiv.

Format: full-time.

Main tasks:

• Administration of active network equipment: routers, L3 switches.
• Control of bandwidth of communication channels, load balancing.
• Configuration of access policies and network segmentation.
• Ensuring reliable and secure VPN communication between branches and remote employees.
• Configuration of video surveillance and access control systems of the company and combining equipment with different locations into a single notification center.
• Control access to services based on geography/office.
• Conduct network audits and update technical documentation.
• Investigate security incidents, identify causes and resolve them.

What an experience we are looking for:

• Understanding of network protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, ARP, ICMP, SNMP, DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, NTP, FTP, TFTP, HTTP/HTTPS.
• In-depth knowledge of Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, pfSense, Fortinet.
• Practical experience in creating VPN networks (IPsec / OpenVPN / WireGuard) to connect offices.
• Knowledge of routing (static/dynamic), NAT, QoS.
• Experience with network security: Firewall, VLAN, ACLs, 802.1x.
• Experience with virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox.
• Skills with monitoring systems: Zabbix, Grafana, Nagios, The Dude.
• Experience in setting up and conducting network audits, IPS/IDS, finding vulnerabilities.
• Experience with SIEM systems and methods of collecting and analyzing network logs will be an advantage.
