Middle Project Manager in NIK-ELEKTRONIKA, TOV

NIK-Elektronika LLC - a leading Ukrainian manufacturer of equipment for automating energy accounting. We create modern electricity, water and heat meters, as well as software for their management. For more than 20 years, we have been implementing innovative solutions for transparent and efficient accounting of energy resources, working both in the Ukrainian and international markets.

We are looking for a Middle Project Manager (PM) to join our team to manage the full software development cycle. This role requires the ability to effectively organize processes, manage risks and ensure timely and quality product delivery.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Planning: Developing detailed project plans, defining scope, resources and budget, as well as setting realistic deadlines.
• Team Management: Day-to-day management of the cross-functional development team (Developers, QA, Designers), including task allocation and monitoring of their implementation.
• Communication: Act as the main point of contact for the team and stakeholders, ensuring a transparent exchange of information on project status, risks and changes.
• Methodologies: Apply and support effective project management methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) in everyday life work.
• Risks and Issues: Actively identify, analyze and minimize potential risks and resolve current blockers (issue resolution).
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on project progress, key metrics and team effectiveness.

Basic Requirements (Must-Have):

• Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of Project Manager experience or Scrum Master in the field of IT (preferably in outsourcing or product development).
• Methodologies: Deep understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum is a must).
• Tools: Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, etc.) and documentation tools.
• Communication: Excellent communication and leadership skills negotiations in Ukrainian and English (Upper-Intermediate/Advanced level).
• Leadership: Ability to motivateand team, resolve conflicts and ensure high performance.
• Technical Literacy: General understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and basic technical concepts.

Would be an Advantage (Nice-to-Have):

• Availability of certificates (PMP, CAPM, PSM I or similar).
• Experience of managing distributed (remote) teams.
• Experience of working with projects in a specific field (for example, FinTech, E-commerce).
• Knowledge of requirements management principles (Requirements Management).
