Psychosocial Support Specialist (MHPSS)
Main duties:
- Providing psycho-emotional support and psychological support to beneficiaries affected by the war (internally displaced persons, orphans, families with children with disabilities, etc.);
- Conducting master classes for children (creative, cognitive, etc.) in a community center;
- Leading groups of up to 15 children, registering participants, drawing up and following the class schedule;
- Conducting individual and group discussions with children and adults (with the consent of parents, if it is necessary);
- Organization of recreational activities, holding conversations with parents or teachers;
- Conducting cultural-educational, preventive-educational, creative and sports-health activities;
- Analysis of the results of work with children and keeping relevant reports;
- Promoting the development of children's socialization skills and adaptation in the new collective;
- Protection of beneficiaries from all forms of violence, discrimination, propaganda, etc.;
- Formation of healthy habits in children, support of physical and mental well-being;
- Notification of management about risks for children or other security threats;
- Maintenance of documentation, preparation of reports and acts of services performed;
- Compliance with policies, in including confidentiality and zero tolerance for sexual exploitation.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Professional education: psychology, pedagogy, social work;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of psychosocial support or counseling;
- Experience working with groups of children is mandatory;
- Experience in a humanitarian context or projects of international organizations will be an advantage;
- Mastery of techniques of group dynamics, facilitation of master classes.

- Attention to the needs of children and the ability to respond to crisis situations; Ability to independently organize working hours and activities.
Working conditions:
- Full-time employment (approximately 160 hours/month);
- Work in a socially important and interesting project;
- Location in m. Romny;
Wage conditions:
- Decent salary level, which is determined based on the results of the interview
