"Tenth of April" is a public organization that works in the direction improving the protection of the population affected by the conflict through the provision of legal, social, psychological and humanitarian assistance, promoting legislative changes, engaging communities in responding to emergencies and finding long-term solutions, in cooperation with the authorities and supporting their capacity, with a special focus on the most vulnerable groups.

In partnership with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), with the financial support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (UHF), we are implementing a project aimed at ensuring safe, dignified and accessible reception and accommodation conditions for evacuees and internally displaced persons with mobility impairments, the elderly and persons with disabilities in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

Tasks: development of tools to track coverage, beneficiary profiles, application processes and post-support follow-up;

  • Organize and conduct post-monitoring;
  • Ensure quality and consistency of data from field teams; formation of reporting information according to requirements;
  • Promoting adaptive learning within the project;
  • Coordinatingtion of monitoring visits; preparation of success stories and thematic cases.
  • The work is carried out in close coordination with the project manager and the monitoring specialist to align the tools with the general goals of the program and the requirements of the donor.
  • Ensuring compliance with humanitarian standards, principles of non-discrimination, confidentiality and secure interaction with beneficiaries
  • Participation in general activities of the project team, including coordination meetings with partner organizations
  • Preparation of reports on the results of visits, keeping statistics, participation in internal reporting according to established schedules
  • Compliance with internal policies and procedures of the organization, as well as donor requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Fluency in Ukrainian (oral and written communication)
  • Fluency in English, will an advantage
  • Knowledge of the basics of business communication and etiquette, the ability to maintain professional communication with beneficiaries, partners and government representatives
  • Computer skills (MS Office is a must; experience using online forms, Google Workspace, tablets is desirable)
  • Readiness for regular trips within the region, in particular to de-occupied and affected areas community (taking into account the security situation; personal protective equipment is provided)
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changes, work in a dynamic environment
  • Experience in humanitarian or social projects will be an advantage, but not mandatory
