Camps Program Manager - MHPSS & Recovery.
The Area Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and operational management of psychological recovery programs for children and families through the Child Resilience Program (CRP) and Family Recovery Camp (FRC), as key psychosocial support and mental health tools of the emergency response program. The programs provide a safe space, intensive psychosocial support and recovery for children and families affected by war.
Key areas of work:
- planning and coordination of 12 shifts of Child Resilience Programand 6 shifts of Family Recovery Camp in accordance with approved plans and budgets;
- ensuring the readiness of locations, logistics, accommodation, food, transport, safety and accessibility of camps, in particular for families with children with disabilities;
- coordination of the work schedules of specialists (psychologists, social pedagogues, speech therapists, trainers) and the psychological support camp coordinator;
- compliance with child protection standards, PZPSP protocols and ethical principles of work with vulnerable groups;
- preparation and support of purchases of goods and services for camps in cooperation with financial and purchasing units;
- participation in the preparation of technical tasks (TOR), tender procedures and control of contract execution;
- ensuring the completeness of primary documentation, contracts, acts, lists of participants and confirmations of services provided;
- collection and systematization of data on participants, activities and results of camps;
- preparation of program and financial reporting in cooperation with monitoring teams and of finances;
- coordination of photo documentation, cases and stories of changes and confirmation of the achieved results;
- ensuring the coordinated implementation of the two program areas of CRP and FRC in cooperation with the Counselor for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS);
- cooperation with regional teams on the selection of participants and preparation for participation in camps.
This position is well suited to a person who has:
- higher education in the field of social sciences, psychology, management, humanitarian or related fields;
- experience in project management of 2 years or more;
- experience working with camping programs, retreats, training or recovery programs for children or families (will a significant advantage);
- practical experience in operational management: planning, budgets, deadlines, coordination of teams;
- understanding of administrative and procurement procedures and work with reporting;
- ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment (MHPSS, child protection, humanitarian context).
