The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is an international non-governmental organization that promotes and supports long-term solutions to the problems faced by refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide.
DRB is currently looking for a Manager for Non-Technical Examination and Information on Risks Related to Explosive Objects, who will join our team in , with frequent trips to Sumy, Mykolaiv and Kyiv.
About the jobYou will play a key role in supporting and strengthening the capacity of our humanitarian demining programs, ensuring high quality, compliance and security performance of measures. In this role, you will lead and oversee the planning, coordination and quality delivery of public relations, non-technical surveys and EOD risk communication activities at district level, ensuring compliance with IMAS, NMAS and DRB standards, whilst managing field teams and facilitating effective project delivery.

About you:
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have at least 5 years of professional experience in Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA), of which at least 3 years of proven management experience in Community Engagement (CL), Non-Technical Survey (NTS) and/or Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE). In addition, we also expect you to:

Proven experience managing field teams, including supervisors and technical by staff
Thorough working knowledge of International Mine Action Standards (IMAS), National Mine Action Standards (NMAS) and HMA quality management systems
Thorough experience of working with the full project cycle, including planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting and closure
Experience of working with implementing partners and in intensive coordination
Proven ability to participate in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical tools and staff capacity development
Experience in post-conflict or complex humanitarian settings required
Practical experience of directly leading teams and providing technical support
Higher education: Master's degree in international relations, humanitarian sciences,public policy or other related field
Fluency in English (oral and written)
Willingness to travel between DRB locations
Desirable
Quality management experience in the field of non-technical inspection (NTS)
Proven experience in developing standard operating procedures (SOP) and training management plans
Proven experience in developing and conducting technical training
Proficiency in Ukrainian will be an advantage
